This shot was done very early in the morning, as described in my previous post on behind the scene of this shoot. The theme was mainly inspired by the song "Burden" by a Swedish prog-metal band called Opeth. Their music is rather unique and quite full of surprises. After all, prog-rock is full of unbalances, odd-time signatures and juxtapositions that putting together things that are not meant to be together can be very pleasing if done right. So, taking flight from that idea, I've figured "hey.. why not get props that don't make sense to be used on the set?". And that was how the thought of using an umbrella frame, adding the chair and placing a mirror came about. All in all, I think that a composition consists non-sense matters can sometimes construct a meaning.. Just like Prog. :)

Last but not least, Merry Xmas and happy New Year folks!! Have yourself a wonderful time of the year.
